Katherine Heigl Still Making Us Love and Hate Her

Oh Katherine Heigl, why do you vex us so?

Take her new movie, 27 Dresses, which opens tomorrow. It doesn't seem to be faring well with critics, but we can't seem to shake this innate desire to see it—even though Cloverfield is also coming out this weekend.

Then there was her David Letterman appearance last night, in which she spent a lot of time degrading her husband. She remarked how much she enjoys humiliating him and holding things over his head to wield some sort of power. This stuff annoys us, because it makes women look naggy, something she pointed out disliking about her Knocked Up character.

But, she was so alive (especially compared to another certain someone) and pretty and smiley that we couldn't just completely write her off as another mouthy star who needs to STFU.

Ugh! We're not used to having to think this hard about a celebrity.
