Katherine Heigl Not Going to Globes

Wah! Katherine Heigl just said she'll be skipping the Golden Globes if the writers' strike is still on next month.
"I'm not crossing the picket line—not unless I'm contractually obliged to do so, which with the Golden Globes I'm not," the actress, who got a Best Supporting nod for her work on Grey's Anatomy, told Entertainment Tonight.
"The last episode we did, the writers were on strike, [but] we had to go to work every day and cross the picket line...it feels awful," she said. "Unfortunately, the actors were contractually obliged to be there. We could have been sued if we didn't go to work. But it's hard—I'd like to avoid it."
Sweetie, we love that you're so principled. We do. But couldn't you just walk the red carpet, let us admire your couture frock and then go home?
