The Hills, Really All That?

Us Weekly held its Hot Hollywood party at Opera last night, and guess who walked the, um, blue carpet? That's right, the cast of The Hills. (Separately, of course. Organizers kept 'em at arm's length.)
We love the show ourselves, but this makes it official, the celebrity guest list has jumped the shark. After all, when your bragged-about VIP list includes reality stars...well, that's not much to brag about, is it?
As for the girls themselves, stay home! We just saw you Tuesday night at the Intermix store opening and last Thursday at the Hornitos Tequila launch. Is there anything you won't attend?
Understandably, it's hard to maintain an air of mystique when your life is the subject of a docuseries, but this constant mugging for the cameras is getting tiresome.
In related news, we have to lump Kanye West in with this soirée spanking. Dude, you're a legit celebrity—maybe no one passed you the memo—but it tarnishes your star when you show up to all these events alongside the Hills folks.
