Call us cynical, but we were wondering when Zac's people would let him break up with Vanessa after putting in the requisite time playing the "supportive boyfriend." (Sweetie, of course I don't mind that you sent nude pics to another actor.)

Well, it may already have happened, at least according to OK! The magazine claims Efron ended it at least a week ago.

But—buckle your seatbelts, kids—this story ain't over. Friends say they don't think this is the last breakup (and hookup...and breakup...) for the High School Musical costars. 

Oh, good, the story continues. We can barely contain our excitement. Can you tell?
