If Brit Cried, Would Anybody Care?

It comes as no surprise to learn Britney Spears' self-arranged photo shoot with OK! magazine was an absolute disaster. (We're not exactly talking about a role model for stable behavior here.)

What is shocking is that magazine editors have decided to run the unflattering pictorial despite the risk of ruining their relationship with Brit (and potentially her career), according to TMZ.

"OK! magazine spent a heartbreaking day with Britney Spears and witnessed firsthand an emotional cry for help that will leave you shocked and sad. This week, on newsstands Friday, the truth will be told."

Among the details that have surfaced from the ill-fated photo shoot:

  • "Apparently, Brit-Brit's eyes rolled back in her head at one point, causing her to look half dead. Her mood, we're told, was extremely erratic. She took frequent bathroom breaks, our source says, and each time she returned her mood would change. She was also completely paranoid during the entire interview, fearing at one point the ceiling was about to cave in on her."

  • She also wiped fried chicken grease on a pricey Gucci frock she was wearing and used a Chanel dress to pick up dog poop. (There go the free designer samples. Poor Coco must be rolling in her grave!)

So, what now? Every headline-grabbing moment—the buzz cut, the umbrella attack, the rehab stint, the lip-synching—seems to be Brit's lowest. But here we go again. Can she sink any further? Let us know what you think in the Comments section.
