Overplayed

The stories we're absolutely sick of this week:

Rosie O'Donnell, Elisabeth Hasselbeck Mychal Watss/WireImage.com

TV Feuds
Arguments are healthy—they clear the air. But damn Rosie for sucking us in to The View (of all things?!) and getting us hooked on the daily drama of left versus right, alternative versus traditional, reason versus rhetoric. Because after she's gone, we're going to be like a desperate junkie missing his daily fix of fire. Think Star would consider coming back?

Jessica Simpson, John Mayer Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com

Breakups & Makeups
We've all gone back to the ex for a booty call, but Jessica Simpson and John Mayer are celebrities, and we expect a little more panache from our power couples—who may or may not be dating. Anyway, they're both rich, famous and reasonably attractive, so if they're feeling the itch, all they need to do is grab the first person walking by. Please, you two, we need closure.
