Lucite—the clear plastic used in stripper shoes and mod accessories—is making a classier comeback, especially as celebs clamor for the acrylic glass heels to help them achieve mile long legs.
"It gives the illusion that the foot is floating," shoe guru Stuart Weitzman says of the trend. Another plus? The colorless material goes with almost any outfit. Just ask Nicky Hilton, who's been sporting her Manolo Blahnik plastic slides from Miami to NYC.
