It's Official! Image Awards Will Go On

WGA Strike Signs AP Photo/Nick Ut

The NAACP Image Awards will go on!

As I had already exclusively reported, the WGA has granted a waiver to the NAACP for its big awards show and gala.

The agreement was just announced by the NAACP and the WGA.

WGA writers are now allowed to script the show, and there will be no picketing of the Feb. 14 event. In addition, the NAACP has been given permission to use clips from motion pictures and television programs.
