Breaking! NAACP Image Awards Update

In less than two hours, the Writers Guild and the NAACP will be holding a press conference—together!

Of course, no one is officially confirming my exclusive story from yesterday that the NAACP has been granted a waiver for its upcoming Image Awards ceremony, but why else would they have a joint press conference? I’ll let ya know when official word comes through.

According to the WGA, attendees at the press conference will include the obligatory union and NAACP execs. Robert Eisele, the Great Debaters screenwriter, and Mara Brock Akil, a writer for television’s Girlfriends, will also be there.
