Seinfeld's Shoe-Count Mystery

Celebrity shoe designer Christian Louboutin is a little confused with the gift Jessica Seinfeld gave Oprah Winfrey.

As you may have heard, Seinfeld recently sent Winfrey 21 pairs shoes, almost all of which were Louboutin, after she visited the chat queen's couch to promote her new book, Deceptively Delicious.

"I'm wondering why exactly 21 versus 20 or 25," a bewildered Louboutin said about the gift, worth an estimated $20,000, at a party thrown last night in his honor by Saks Fifth Avenue at the new S Bar in Hollywood. "I would like to know why this very specific number." (P.S.: I've put in a call to Seinfeld's rep about the mystery number. I'll post as soon as possible if I get an explanation.)

Toasting the French shoemaker were Ashley Olsen, Rachel Bilson, Hayden Panettiere, Kristen Bell and Elisabeth Röhm.

Molly Sims, who stopped by the party before hitting a Cartier bash for stylist Rachel Zoe's new book, Style A to Zoe, in Beverly Hills, said she's looking to join the ranks of celebrity clothing designers. First up? Underwear!

"I'm working on a few things, a little lingerie...everyday girl stuff," Sims said.
