Spears in Sin City—and Gettin' Cozy with Angel!

The pop princess hit Las Vegas last night to host the opening of LAX nightclub inside the Luxor Hotel & Casino.

Although she didn’t perform her highly touted new single, "Gimme More," DJ AM blasted the tune when she entered the club just after midnight.

Spears partied in the VIP area with illusionist Criss Angel.

And now I'm just getting word that Spears and Angel were looking quite cozy during the evening. While he has insisted they’re just friends and that Spears asked him to help with her maybe-performance at MTV’s Video Music Awards on Sept. 9 in Vegas, a source reports that the two were spotted after LAX at a local McDonald's, holding hands and sharing a couple of smooches.

Spears and Angel are said to have stopped by after-hours club Noir Bar.

Also hitting LAX were lovebirds Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg, Dave Navarro, Wilmer Valderrama, Brody Jenner and Josh Henderson.
