Diddy's 105-Degree Fever

Kelly Rowland may not have been the only who fell ill during the recent ThisDay festival in Africa.

On Sunday, Rowland was taken to a hospital and treated for dehydration after collapsing onstage during her ThisDay performance in Lagos, Nigeria.

Now, I hear that Sean "Diddy" Combs, who also performed (see above), got sick, too.

The rapper-designer hasn't been feeling well, his rep tells me, and his fever at one point reached a dangerously high 105 degrees.

Remarkably, Combs hasn't let his illness get in the way of business.

While I hear Combs canceled a shoot he was supposed to do yesterday morning in New York City for a Macy's commercial, his rep insists it eventually happened late last night. "He's a trouper," the rep says.

Combs is scheduled to appear live on BET tomorrow for the premiere of the video for his new single, "Through the Pain." The rep says, "He's resting now. He's feeling better."

Combs is one of a slew of celebs being shot for the new Macy's holiday ad campaign because his various product lines are sold at the department store. Others include Jessica Simpson, new Style Network reality star Kimora Lee Simmons, Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Ecko, Martha Stewart and Emeril Lagasse.

The television spots are being directed by Barry Levinson on a set at the Brooklyn Navy Yard that, I'm told, looks exactly like the iconic first floor of Macy's Herald Square flagship store.
