More MTV Movie Awards!

Rihanna Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com

The sun, the stars and a fuschia carpet aren't the only things about the MTV Movie Awards that separate it from other awards shows. If you read my liveblogs you got a taste, but now that I've had time to recover (and read my notes) I can bring you even more dish from the event:

Just minutes before Rihanna's performance of "Umbrella" with Jay-Z, she told me she does two simple things before hitting the stage: She drinks some hot tea and says a prayer. My guess? She prayed that nothing popped out of her teeny-weeny Dolce & Gabbana dominatrix garb during the showstoppin' number.

Amanda Bynes told me she loved her '60s wardrobe for her role as Penny Pingleton in the upcoming musical movie Hairspray. How much? She hoped to take some of it home after the film wrapped, but no such luck. "I love the dress from the last scene, when Penny really breaks out," Bynes told me. "They are made from one of Penny's curtains. But they had to hold onto it because they want to submit it for Oscar consideration."

The first Transformers hasn't come out yet, but that doesn't mean Tyrese Gibson isn't already thinking about a sequel. When I asked him if he's signed on for a possible Transformers 2, he—spoiler alert!—said with a smile, "I'm still alive at the end of Transformers." Meanwhile, Gibson insisted he didn't know how much all the bling around his neck and on his ears was actually worth, but smiled again: "This is Transformers money around my neck."

While reports claim Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham's new reality show for NBC/Bravo has been canceled, it certainly didn't seem that way on the carpet. There was a crew with press credentials that read "Beckham pilot." Beckham said she's in the middle of renovation hell. "It's like a building site right now," she said of the work being done at the Beckham's new gazillion-dollar L.A. estate. "But I just want David and the boys to turn up and have it perfect for them. I'm kind of feathering my nest."

As you can see in the photo, Posh's minidress was way short and way tight. That might explain why she didn't join Chris Tucker for some dancing during a commercial break as the two waited onstage to introduce Rihanna and Jay-Z. As Tucker danced to Fergie's "Glamorous," Posh stood there stiff as a board.

I'm told Ron Jeremy couldn't stay up during the awards. As in, awake. A spy of mine reported that the legendary porn star dozed off for part of the show.

Did Whitney from The Hills go commando? I'm told the reality star became a big target for photographers when someone announced she wasn't wearing any underwear.

Where did everyone end up after the awards? Hyde. Who was there? Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel; Andy SambergJustin Long; Bynes, her Hairspray costar Nikki Blonsky and director Adam Shankman; Fantastic Four dudes Ioan Gruffudd and Chris Evans; Chris Tucker and several members of his family; and Rumer Willis hanging with Lance Bass
