Heather Mills' Cover-Up at Dancing with the Stars

Heather Mills burst into tears this morning on my pal Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show.

The estranged wife of Paul McCartney cried when she heard one of Seacrest's listeners confess how her bad feelings toward Mills have changed after watching her on Dancing with the Stars. "That makes me emotional," Mills said before the tears started flowing. "That's great."

But can Mills keep winning hearts and minds if the fans can't see her? I just received an email from a source telling me that a humongous gray curtain has been erected around Mills' trailer at the Dancing with the Stars set.

Mills apparently wants to block the prying eyes of fans. "They load the audience [onto the set] that way," my source reports. "But she is the only one with the curtain."

Former Cheers star John Ratzenberger, however, was much more approachable today. "A fan just walked by his trailer and said, 'Can you go get Joey [Fatone]?' " an eyewitness reports. "And John said, 'Only if you vote for me.' "
