Imagine an opera with Paris Hilton as the virtuoso, Kim Kardashian as the prima donna, David Spade as the tenor and Owen Wilson as the baritone. Mix in a group of scantily dressed trendsetters as the choir. Then picture a sensuous set, with dramatic archways and walls covered with curvy, handblown amber glass. That’s exactly what nightclub impresario David Judaken created last night when he opened the glass doors to his new Hollywood club, Opera.

The theatrical playground was filled with Tinseltown's top partygoers. Adrian Grenier sat between two flirtatious girls in a booth, while David Spade hit on a waitress at his own private table. Rex Lee chatted up former Idol Constantine Maroulis, while Rachel Hunter walked around leaving men drooling in her wake.

And then there were the Hiltons. Nicky arrived early with boyfriend David Katzenberg and secured a prime table, so she could scowl at the people dancing below. Her big sis, however, was in much better spirits. Despite the extensive line outside the venue, Paris was immediately escorted in, so she could join Nicky. After having a few laughs, the heiress pranced around on the patio for a bit, stopping to talk to Adam Brody and others.

Also going alfresco was Lauren "L.C." Conrad, who was having a girls' night out. Alas, her fellow Hills member Brody Jenner stayed inside with stepsis Kim Kardashian, who didn’t seem to be her usual happy self, spending more time peering at her BlackBerry than socializing. Upset that Paris is back to steal the limelight, perhaps?

Aside from Kim, everyone appeared to be having a blast. Stacy Keibler was all smiles with boyfriend Geoff Stults and her usual drink of choice: a classic beer. Meanwhile, another blond beauty, Joanna Krupa, enlisted a group of gal-pals to get up and dance.

And me? I was just soaking in the good vibes. With an opening night like this, Opera is sure to have a bene encore. Bravo!
