After a slow week of Hollywood happenings, things are finally picking up. Samantha Ronson is deejaying at GQ Magazine and Heineken Premium Light's Irresistible Evening Party at Les Deux. With one of the hottest deejays spinning at one of the top five Los Angeles night spots, I have high hopes for the evening.

Les Deux is transformed into a posh frat house as clubgoers ditch their martinis for free bottles of green Heine. The beer company has also provided female servers to keep the crowd satiated with Asian fare like spicy tuna rolls, tempura and coconut shrimp—though most men seem to find more satisfaction in the girls’ tight gray minidresses. It's yum, for some.

Also aiming to please, at a marginally higher level, is cleavage-baring porn actress and Dirt star Stormy Daniels. She’s already working the crowd when I arrive but takes a minute to tell me how tabloids don’t always tell the truth. Shocker, right? “I don’t believe it at all,” Stormy says of the rumors her costar Courteney Cox might divorce hubby David Arquette. “Not only do they work well together, they are truly one of the cutest couples I have ever seen because they are such opposites. And for some reason it just works. I’ve been to their home, I’ve seen them with their daughter, and I think the rumors are complete crap.” Courteney must be paying Stormy a pretty hefty salary for all that swoonage.

After refusing to have her picture taken or to be interviewed outside because the carpet is “too small,” Michelle Rodriguez enters the bash. Since when did the Lost star (who's not even on the show anymore!) get such a big head? She didn’t seem to have a problem posing for the paparazzi with her court-imposed ankle bracelet during New York Fashion Week last month.

Loving the attention is notorious party-hopper Bai Ling, who has stuck a rose in the cleavage of her sparkly black dress. Perhaps she read our latest, floral-centric Trend Spy  and got confused. The flower goes in your hair, not nestled twixt your girls! Bai does have a record of fashion boo-boos. But she sure knows how to have fun. “You drive me crazy, you drive me crazy,” she sings when I ask about her favorite tune for club nights. “I always love to dance to that song.”

Britney Spears isn’t blasting through the airwaves yet, so Bai settles on shaking it like crazy to Ronson’s eclectic mix of Fergie, Amy Winehouse and even Johnny Cash.

“The music playing here is very conversational,” says DJ GOC (Gavin O’Connor), who spins at Les Deux every Wednesday. “I get the hottest reaction when I play Mims' 'This Is Why I’m Hot’—which is also on iTune’s top-played songs this week.” Maybe he should go over and give Samantha some advice, because besides Bai Ling, nobody’s dancing.

Perfectly in tune with the vibe is America’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 cuckoo Lisa D'Amato, who's dialing it down. She hangs with DJ GOC and Cycle 6 runner-up Joanie Dodds. Looks like Tyra doesn’t just create models, she creates lifelong friendships. The pair are quite the odd couple. While Joanie channels a Victoria’s Secret Angel with her wavy blond locks and pink dress, Lisa looks like a rocked-up Dreamgirls singer in her sequined red frock.

“I can't talk about it as of yet, but I definitely have tricks up my sleeve,” Lisa teases about her post-reality-show activities. She does, however, disclose her affection for British pop stars. “Robbie Williams,” she replies, when I ask her who she thinks is the ultimate GQ man. He’s no GQ cover boy like Christian Bale, but hey, to each her own.

By 9:30 the outdoor section of the club is already jam-packed, so I head inside for a breather. 7th Heaven cutie Geoff Stults makes it a boys-and-beers with brother George, while rotund comic Andy Milonakis hits on some girls in the corner. Other than that, the inside is pretty dead, so I brave the crowd back on the patio to look for Nicky Hilton, who I hear just snuck in unnoticed. Unnoticed by most, that is.

At a table nearby, Taye Diggs hangs low-key, talking with an older couple. From the neck up, the normally fashionable New Yorker stokes his style rep with a sleek brown fedora. But what was he thinking when he put on that bow tie? So not GQ. Maybe he was trying to ward off the ladies to keep wife Idina Menzel happy. But even with the questionable neck gear, three blondes flock to Taye’s table. Good looks are always the ultimate fashion accessory.

Due to its early start time, the event is over by 11. Danny Masterson rolls in to say hi to his still-at-work deejay pal Samantha, but Bai Ling is already resting her mopey mug on her hands. Not a good sign. I follow Nicky Hilton’s lead and leave the club before it gets infested with the next round of party revelers. As I step outside, I hear a bouncer tell a man in the hundred-person throng, “It’s not happening tonight, buddy.” Thankfully, my night’s already happened, because this party girl needs to go home and get her beauty rest.
