Halle Berry Baby Time
Halle Berry has enhanced the girl power in her life.
The Oscar winner and her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, welcomed a daughter Sunday in Los Angeles.
This is the first child for Berry, who named the child Nahla Ariela Aubry. According to BabyNamer.com, Nahla is Arabic in origin and means "drop of water."
Mother and daughter are "doing great," according to publicist Meredith O'Sullivan.
Berry, also one of the longtime faces of Revlon, met Aubry in November 2005 during a Versace photo shoot. They let their coupled status be known about three months later.
The 41-year-old X-Men star announced her pregnancy in September. She glowingly graced the cover of the February issue of In Style clad in a Grecian-style one-shoulder white dress, hands resting on her prominent tummy.
"I may only do this one time, so I want this moment to be as big as it can be," she told the magazine. "I want the biggest bang I can possibly imagine."
