Amy Winehouse Stands by Her Man
So much for those Amy Winehouse divorce rumors.
The troubled songbird made an unkempt appearance at husband Blake Fielder-Civil's court hearing Friday, shouting, "'I love you, handsome! Gorgeous, I love you!" as he was led back to jail.
She then turned to reporters seated near her and snapped, "I'm not talking to you."
Winehouse, 24, arrived at Snaresbrook Crown Court just before the proceedings concluded, sporting wild bleached locks and smeared lipstick.
She sat with her mother-in-law, Georgette, who had to put an arm around the singer's waist to support her as she shakily left the courtroom.
Bodyguards helped her to evade photographers and reporters waiting outside and loaded her into a waiting car, which spirited her away.
There has been speculation about possible strife in the singer's marriage, after she was spotted spending time both with ex-boyfriend George Roberts and music producer Mark Ronson while Fielder-Civil was behind bars, which reportedly did not please her husband, who was said to be considering a divorce.
The couple tied the knot in Miami last May.
Fielder-Civil has been locked up since November and stands accused of attempting to manipulate a witness in his upcoming assault case.
His next hearing is scheduled for Feb. 29.
In November, Winehouse canceled all her remaining appearances for the year, citing her heartbreak over her husband's incarceration.
"I can't give it my all onstage without my Blake," Winehouse said in a statement at the time. "I'm so sorry, but I don't want to do the shows halfheartedly; I love singing. My husband is everything to me, and without him, it's just not the same."
For now, the chanteuse is slated to attend the Grammys on Feb. 10, where she's up for six awards, but it remains unclear whether she will perform.
