Courtney Thorne-Smith in a Baby Place

According to Courtney Thorne-Smith, it's a boy!

The actress and husband Roger Fishman welcomed their first child together, son Jacob Emerson Fishman, Friday in Los Angeles.

"Mother and father are thrilled," Thorne-Smith's rep told Us Weekly's Website, which first reported the birth announcement. "And the baby is healthy."

The proud new parents are also saying that "the baby is absolutely gorgeous," the rep said, per People.

Thorne-Smith and Fishman, who owns a media company, tied the knot on New Year's Day last year in an intimate ceremony at the According to Jim star's home. The duo met on an airplane in 2004, three years after the actress split up with first husband Andrew Conrad.

"It's such an amazing moment for both of us," Thorne-Smith said last year about her pregnancy. "We both sort of had to say, I don't know if this is going to happen for me. The fact it's happening is just astounding!"

What was perhaps even more amazing—or at least a big coincidence—was that Thorne-Smith was joined in Cedars' maternity ward Friday by Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie, who birthed their new additions within minutes of each other, and David Alan Grier's wife, Christine Kim, who made the 51-year-old comedian a first-time dad.
