Nancy Grace Hospitalized

Not such good news for Nancy Grace.

The Headline News anchor has been hospitalized due to complications from her recent pregnancy, a network spokeswoman said Tuesday.

Grace was on her way to church Sunday when she began having trouble breathing and sought treatment at a local hospital.

"She was brought to the emergency room in Atlanta," spokeswoman Janine Iamunno said in a statement. "Her doctors found two blood clots in her lungs, which occurred as a result of the pregnancy. She is currently recovering and is expected to be released by the end of the week."

Grace, 48, delivered twins John David and Lucy Elizabeth on Nov. 4, two months ahead of her January due date.

Doctors induced her after she developed pulmonary edema, a condition that involves fluid in the lungs, which was determined to be a risk both to her health and the babies.

Son John David weighed in at 5 pounds, 1 ounce and daughter Lucy Elizabeth tipped the scale at 2 pounds, 15 ounces. Both were said to be doing well after birth.

"Lucy Elizabeth and John David both lost weight at first, but now they are gaining. She is feisty and he is laid back—we even have to wake John David up to make him eat," Grace said in a posting on cnn.com Sunday.

"They both smile all the time…I know in my heart they would not be doing this well without your love and prayers, please keep praying!"

The babies are the first children for Grace, who tied the knot with investment banker David Linch in a secret ceremony in April and announced both her marriage and her pregnancy in June.

"I just can't believe that, at my age, I would find such happiness," she said at the time.

Once she's back on her feet, the news pundit has said she plans to return to hosting her legal analysis program as soon as possible.
