Amy Winehouse isn't in trouble this time. But her husband is another story.

Blake Fielder-Civil was arrested for allegedly trying to tamper with witnesses in his upcoming trial for assaulting a bartender. The 25-year-old was taken away in handcuffs, as his teary wife clung to him.

The poignant scene was captured on film by London's Daily Mail, which earlier published photos of police using crowbars to pry their way into the couple's home.

British authorities raided the beehive-rocking singer's northwest London home Thursday as part of an investigation that also led to the arrest of four unidentified men, according to the Metropolitan Police Service.

"It's part of an ongoing operation," police said, adding that the four men, all between the ages of 19 and 25, were busted in east London on suspicion of "perverting the course of justice" (a British-sounding allegation if there ever was one). Police would not confirm the British media reports that Fielder-Civil is one of the men facing charges.

A fifth man, aged 36, was arrested Friday in central England.

Officers arrived at Winehouse's home about 5 p.m., spent three hours rifling through belongings and left carrying several boxes.

Neither Winehouse nor Fielder-Civil was on the scene, with Winehouse having hightailed it to the countryside earlier in the day to spend time with her father and her hubby leaving about an hour before the coppers showed.

"It has nothing to do with drugs," a spokesman for singer said. "Amy is fine. She has not been charged or arrested."

Fielder-Civil and another man are set to stand trial Monday for beating up a barkeep (or, in the British parlance, "inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent") in June. The Mirror claims the defendants offered one trial witness more than $400,000 for favorable testimony. Authorities declined to comment.

It's the latest chapter in the couple's tortured history—and they've only been married since May.

The 24-year-old Back to Black artist and her husband have said they're going to appeal their Oct. 18 pot-possession bust in Bergen, Norway, claiming they didn't know that paying more than $1,400 in fines was akin to pleading guilty to the charge.

Since eschewing the spotlight in August to address "health issues" and deny reports she was battling heroin and cocaine addictions, preferring to call her sojourn a "retreat," Winehouse has slowly been inching her way back into full-time-performer mode.

She showed up to sing the title track from her latest album at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Munich last week, although reviews of her performance were generally negative, with the ready-to-pounce U.K. media reporting she was slurring her words.

And now it's America's turn to pounce. Winehouse's application for a U.S. visa has finally been granted, giving her the opportunity to make up the various concert dates she scuttled over the summer. A scheduled performance on Saturday Night Live is likely a no-go, however, due to the current writers' strike, which has pushed sketch and talk shows into repeats.
