Britney Gets Her Visits Back
Britney Spears is, once again, no longer an empty nester.
The 25-year-old pop princess was spotted Saturday chauffeuring her two kids and a court-appointed monitor around after regaining the visitation privileges she briefly lost on Wednesday during an emergency hearing.
News of the reinstated visitation was confirmed Sunday by Spears' attorney, Anne Kiley, after first reported by People. Paparazzi photos showed the reunited mother and children shuttling around the San Fernando Valley.
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon temporarily suspended Spears' rights to see two-year-old Sean Preston and year-old Jayden James every other day after she was found to be unreachable via the cell phone number she had specifically for court-related matters, according to sources close to the situation.
Other sources said that Spears wasn't cooperating with Gordon's order to submit to regularly meet with a parenting coach.
But apparently this most recent wakeup call resounded a little louder than others with the "Gimme More" chanteuse.
Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said Thursday that he expected Spears rights to be reinstated shortly because, by then, she was already back "in compliance" with the court's instructions.
It's unclear whether Spears is still allowed to have the children sleep over; Gordon had extended her privileges on Oct. 11 to include supervised overnight visits.
Either way, Spears has ensured that she has plenty of room to accommodate her brood. She has reportedly leased a $9 million home in Malibu—with the option to buy after six months should she get comfortable.
Per the Los Angeles Times, the canyon-situated abode is equipped with seven bedrooms, a master suite, a media room and wine cellar in 8,500 square feet. The five-acre property also boasts a pool and spa, a guesthouse and room for horses.
Another custody hearing is scheduled for Oct. 26. Spears' new album hits stores Oct. 30.
