The doctor is out. At least for now.

While this week's results have yet to be revealed, Jane Seymour, Dancing with the Stars' resident English rose and erstwhile Dr. Quinn, will be MIA from Tuesday's broadcast due to the death of her mother.

Seymour's mom, Mieke Frankenberg, died Tuesday morning at the age of 92 due to complications from a stroke suffered earlier this year, according to the actress' rep, Susan Madore. The Emmy winner was en route to England to be with her family and attend the funeral service and will skip the taping.

"She's definitely missing the show this evening," Madore told E! News.

It remains to be seen whether the wannabe Dancing queen, who's partnered with Tony Dovolani for the competition, will return next Monday, should she make the cut.

"Those aspects are uncertain at this time," the rep said.

The 56-year-old small-screen icon, who said prior to the start of the show that she chose to participate in Dancing with the Stars because it was her mother's absolute favorite series, released a statement praising her mum.

"My mother survived incredible challenges...her health issues that she never complained about...three and a half year in a Japanese concentration camp in World War II and the loss of her husband, John, who was the love of her life.

"However, she was always a beacon of love and hope for all she met and especially for my sisters Anne and Sally and for our entire family. Her spirit was indomitable and will continue to live forever in our hearts."

In her first two performances of the season, Seymour held her ground in both the foxtrot and the mambo, though judge Len Goodman criticized her most recent turn as being "an English mambo, and I wanted a South American mambo." Regardless, Seymour found herself in a five-way tie following last night's show, earning 21 out of 30 points.

Before the season kicked off, Seymour explained her motivation for hoofing it up.

"It turned out to be my mother's favorite show ever and she would not miss it ever," the actress said last month.

"She got very, very excited when I said I was going to do this in her honor. I asked if she'd be proud of me, and she actually spoke. It was the only word she's spoken since the stroke. She said 'Yes.'

"So I decided I'm going to do the best I can and hopefully I'll do my mother and anybody with back injuries or advanced age proud."
