Pamela Bach's Hit-and-Rerun Case

This time, all went according to procedure.

Pamela Bach was officially booked for hit and run Monday, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office confirmed to E! Online, nine months after a botched booking left the case up in the air.

David Hasselhoff's ex-wife turned herself in at Van Nuys Jail at around 2:50 p.m. and was formally entered into the system by 3:10 p.m.

A Van Nuys Superior Court judge had originally ordered her to make an appearance at the jailhouse back in June, but Bach's schedule has been pretty crammed since then with court dates pertaining to her still-messy split from Hasselhoff.

Monday's action was largely procedural—Bach pleaded not guilty in May to misdemeanor hit-and-run stemming from her Jan. 22 run-in with a parked car.

She is accused of bumping her white Mercedes into another vehicle and then driving away. Although her attorney, Peter Knecht, characterized the accident as a "minor fender-bender" that caused negligible damage, someone took down Bach's license plate number, leading to the "and-run" part of the case and subsequent criminal charge.

Nicole Valdez, the 26-year-old woman whose car Bach allegedly ran into, says that damages $1,377.

The arresting officer who processed the case shortly after the smashup apparently did not follow proper procedure while taking Bach's fingerprints and mug shot.

Bach was released today on her own recognizance and is due in court Tuesday for a pretrial hearing. She is facing up to six months in jail if convicted.

Meanwhile, the former Bay Watch guest star is scheduled to be moved out of her nearby Encino home by Oct. 1 after agreeing to vacate the residence in exchange for more time to sift through Hasselhoff's financial records. A trial on Bach's request for more financial support has been postponed until Jan. 28.

A source close to Bach told reporters earlier this month that she may be moving to Bel-Air, to a residence either owned or leased by Hasselhoff. The Hoff has been given the option of returning to the family's Encino manse with their teenage daughters, Hayley, 15, and Taylor, 17. He won primary physical custody and full legal custody of the girls in June.
