Aniston Gets into Character
Jennifer Aniston is into He's Just Not That into You.
The actress is in final talks to join the ensemble comedy, which is being produced by Drew Barrymore and her Flower Films partner Nancy Juvonen, her rep confirms to E! News.
Barrymore also stars in the project, along with Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long, Ginnifer Goodwin and Scartlett Johansson, another new addition to the cast.
Based on the bestselling dating manual by the same name, the film centers on a group of Baltimore dwellers, all struggling with the challenges of interpreting interpersonal behavior.
Aniston will play a woman dealing with a longtime boyfriend who refuses to commit to marriage.
Production is due to begin in Los Angeles early next month.
Earlier this month, Aniston signed on to star as a traveling saleswoman in the upcoming comedy Management. After her character has an ill-advised one-night stand with a slacker assistant motel manager (Steve Zahn), she finds him trailing her all over the country.
She'll also executive produce and potentially star in the musical Goree Girls, about a group of singing inmates at a Texas penitentiary who formed one of the first all-female country-western groups back in the 1940s.
Finally, Aniston will team with Owen Wilson in the big-screen adaptation of Marley & Me, John Grogan's bestselling memoir of life with the world's worst dog. Production is due to begin next month, per Variety.
Aniston was last seen on the big screen in 2006's The Break-Up, opposite former real-life flame Vince Vaughn.
