Father's Day for the Hoff: He Gets Custody of Kids

Apparently, David Hasselhoff's home-movie career hasn't tarnished his image as a father.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas awarded the America's Got Talent judge sole legal custody and primary physical custody of his two teenage daughters, 14-year-old Hayley and 17-year-old Taylor.

"The judge said, 'Enough is enough,' " Hasselhoff told reporters following the hearing.

Hasselhoff had been sharing custody with ex-wife Pamela Bach, but their increasingly vitriolic battle over the girls reached a crescendo in recent months. Juhas was prompted to temporarily suspend the Hoff's visitation rights on May 7 after a video of Hasselhoff—shot by Taylor—surfaced, showing him drunkenly sitting on the floor of his Las Vegas hotel room, rambling and trying to eat a hamburger.

Juhas had since ordered Hasselhoff to undergo periodic alcohol tests to ensure he's complying with the court's order to stay off the sauce. According to the actor's legal camp, he will still be required to undergo testing.

Meanwhile, Hasselhoff maintained throughout the yearlong struggle that Bach had plenty of her own problems, and suggested that the girls would be better off living with him.

Per Hasselhoff's attorney, Melvin Goldsman, Bach will still be able to see the girls.

"Pamela is able to visit on alternate weekends and each Wednesday night for dinner," the lawyer tells E! News. "And David made it clear to the court the girls can visit with their mother whenever they want to."

After her ex's visitation rights were reestablished a couple of weeks ago, she had been spending four days out of every week with the girls.

Bach's attorney, Debra Opri (who has her own legal fish to fry now that she's being sued by Larry Birkhead for fraud), refused to discuss the hearing with the media, maintaining that a court order prevented her and her client from speaking to the press.

But both Opri and Bach hinted that battle isn't over.

"We're feeling good. The system works," Opri said. Bach added: "The truth will be told."

Hasselhoff told the press, however, that his responsibility is to be a good dad, and that today seemed like a great day for the beach.
