Jaime King's Model Engagement
Jaime King has found her number one Fanboy.
The model-actress has gotten engaged to her Fanboys director and boyfriend of more than a year, Kyle Newman, her rep confirmed to E! News.
Details on when and how the burgeoning helmer popped the question—and how many carats he used to do so—were not released.
The 28-year-old Sin City stunner met the 31-year-old Newman last year while filming Fanboys, a buddy comedy centering on four friends who honor their dying friend's last wish to watch Star Wars at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch.
The flick also stars Kristen Bell, William Shatner and Seth Rogen and is due out in January.
But no date has been announced for the duo's stroll down the aisle, which will be the first marriage for both. King previously had been linked with both Kid Rock, whom she dated for several years, and Bradley Cooper, with whom she briefly costarred on the ill-fated 2005 Fox series Kitchen Confidential.
Newman was previously linked with actress Paula Mazzotta, who appeared in his first Hollywood film, 2004's The Hollow.
With Fanboys and his engagement, Newman is back on track after a brief hiccup. In November, Fox Atomic shut down his remake of the '80s classic Revenge of the Nerds, just weeks after it had begun production.
The comedy, starring Kristin Cavallari and produced by Adam Brody, was deep-sixed after Emory University, where the bulk of the filming was set to take place, backed out citing the film's high raunch factor. After unsuccessfully trying to find a suitable backup location, the studio called it quits on the project.
Aside from Fanboys, King recently wrapped production on the thriller They Wait and is currently in Shreveport filming The Pardon, in which she plays the first and only woman to be executed via electric chair by the state of Louisiana. Sex and the City's Jason Lewis costars.
