Locklear, Sambora: Single

Fourteen months, three judges, two rebound flings and countless tabloid covers after first filing for divorce, Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora have officially uncoupled.

A Los Angeles judge signed off on the twosome's divorce Wednesday after lawyers for both parties came to terms on a settlement.

While neither side has disclosed terms of the deal, when Locklear filed for the divorce in February 2006, she requested that the court uphold the terms of the duo's prenuptial agreement.

In papers filed by Sambora the following month, he too requested that the prenuptial agreement be enforced and did not appear to challenge Locklear on the issue of custody over their nine-year-old daughter, Ava Elizabeth.

In her divorce filing, the former Melrose Place star sought joint custody for the child, but also requested physical custody over the girl. Sambora seconded the joint custody request, but it's unclear if he was as agreeable over the arrangement for physical custody.

While the personal goings-on of Sambora and Locklear have been splashed out on the pages of the glossies in the year since they've split, the inner goings-on of their actual divorce is less clear-cut, and, it seems, by design: the twosome vetoed two Los Angeles Superior Court judges in the month after they split in lieu of working out a settlement before a private judge.

After 11 years of marriage, the 45-year-old actress filed for divorce on Feb. 2, 2006, citing irreconcilable differences with the Bon Jovi rocker. In the months that followed, a soap opera worthy of Locklear's TV past began playing out, with Sambora taking up with Locklear's former best friend and neighbor Denise Richards, while Locklear herself moved on to a fleeting relationship with David Spade.

The pair wed in Paris in 1994.

And after a rocky start as singletons, it seems both stars are rebounding nicely.

Locklear, who was previously married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, recently filmed the ABC comedy pilot See Jayne Run and has reportedly romantically moved on to former Melrose costar Jack Wagner.

The 47-year-old rocker, meanwhile, has spent his days getting all dolled up.

Sambora and bandmate Jon Bon Jovi, though sadly not Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres or keyboardist David Bryan, have been made into action figures by McFarlane Toys. The dolls are due out in August and will retail for $10-12 a pop.
