Nick Cannon Still a Solo Artist

It's still possible that Nick Cannon doesn't believe in monogamy.

The actor-rapper's latest paramour confirmed Wednesday to E! News that she and Cannon aren't newlyweds.

Model Selita Ebanks said that, while she has "never been happier," the couple did not tie the knot in Las Vegas during NBA All-Star Weekend after only three weeks of dating, as was previously reported on Us Weekly's Website.

"I had to laugh a lot," said Ebanks, when asked what her response was to the story. "You know it's a little scary because it's almost a domino effect and it's like, first we were just a hot couple and then we were married. Only God knows what else is going to come out."

Cannon, 26, who in the past has been linked to Lindsay Lohan and Christina Milian and who supposedly claimed while dating socialite Kim Kardashian last year that he "didn't believe in monogamy," met Ebanks at a Super Bowl party in Miami. (One can detect a sporting theme here.)

But even though Ebanks, 24, can't call the Drumline star her hubby, she still had plenty of kind sentiments to throw his way.

"Nick is very supportive; he definitely is a very smart man," the Victoria's Secret poser, who was in New York to celebrate the launch of the Secret Embrace Bra, told E! "He definitely helps me along the way. We do talk about work and making right decisions as far as being a business woman. So yeah, he is helpful in those areas."

And Ebanks is no slouch, either.

"We're young and happy," she said. "He definitely puts a smile on my face and I do that for him, as well. I've never been happier. So, you know, we are two young people just living life."

Up next for Cannon, who last year appeared in Bobby and lent his voice to Monster House, is a starring role alongside Ving Rhames and Mena Suvari in a reworking of George A. Romero's Day of the Dead.

The former Wild N' Out host also has another MTV sketch show in the works and should be releasing his sophomore album, Stages, sometime in 2007.
