Weeds' Nealon Sprouts Offspring
Kevin Nealon has already mastered the arts of subliminal messaging and (clap) pumping you up. So parenting shouldn’t be so tough.
The former Saturday Night Live star and his wife, actor Susan Yeagley, welcomed their first child together, son Gable Ness Nealon, Monday night in Santa Monica.
"Mom, Dad and baby are all happy and healthy," Nealon's rep, Meredith O'Sullivan, said.
The 53-year-old funnyman tied the knot with Yeagley, 35, on Sept. 3, 2005, during a small ceremony in the Italian town of Bellagio. Nealon told the world that he was starting to make good on his wife's vow to "have many children" (told to People after they swapped vows) during an appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien last month.
Yeagley, who appeared in the Joel Coen-directed dark comedy Intolerable Cruelty, cohosted the TV special World's Funniest Commercials with her hubby last year.
Nealon currently stars as small-town politico and pothead Doug Wilson on the critically acclaimed Showtime series Weeds. The actor is also a fixture on the celebrity poker circuit, winning his first-round table in 2004 on Bravo's Celebrity Poker Showdown (eventually losing to fourth season champ Mekhi Phifer) and participating in online games via the Hollywood Poker Website.
