Jeffrey Tambor's Family Development
Jeffrey Tambor now has way more than 20 good years to look forward to.
The six-time Emmy nominee welcomed his second child with wife Kasia on Sunday, Dec. 10. Newborn daughter Eve Julia, who weighed in at eight pounds, happens to have the same birthday as her big brother, two-year-old Gabriel Kasper, further cementing December as the biggest shopping month of the year for the Tambors.
Tambor's adult daughter Molly, from a previous marriage, made the former Arrested Development patriarch a grandfather in 2004, giving birth to son Mason just four days after Gabriel was born.
Let's just say, there's a whole lot of Sagittarius in that family.
Tambor, 62, tied the knot with Kasia Ostlun, 38, on Oct. 6, 2001. Since his wedding day, the veteran character actor has racked up another two Emmy nods—he already had four from his days as "Hey now" Hank Kingsley on The Larry Sanders Show—for his role as twin brothers George Sr. and Oscar Bluth on the delightfully demented Arrested Development.
Most recently, Tambor starred alongside fellow sexagenarian John Lithgow in the short-lived NBC sitcom Twenty Good Years. While the series is almost certainly destined for early retirement, Tambor's rep, Amy Zvi, still referred to the show as "on hiatus."
Lithgow played an arrogant surgeon forced into early semi-retirement, while Tambor played an indecisive judge.
Up next for Tambor, per imdb.com, are supporting roles in the comedy-mystery Slipstream and Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, in which he reprises his role of Bureau of Paranormal Research & Defense director Tom Manning.
