Britney Finds Panties, Thanks God
Oops, she did it again…and again…and again.
Britney Spears has acknowledged that repeatedly flashing her naked nether regions to the Internet-using population of the world may not have been the best way to celebrate her emancipation from Kevin Federline.
"Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my new found freedom a bit too far," Spears wrote in a letter posted on her official Website.
However, the pop star wasn't making any apologies for her actions.
"It's been so long since I've been out on the town with friends. It's also been two years since I've even celebrated my birthday," wrote the mother-of-two, who turned 25 on Dec. 2.
Since filing for divorce from Federline on Nov. 7, Spears has become a girl about town, often spotted in the company of serial revelers Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
Meanwhile, her soon-to-ex husband doesn't seem to be having too much trouble adjusting to the split himself, recently telling E! News that he was doing "great" and had "a lot of options on the table right now."
Both halves of the estranged couple are seeking full custody of their sons, one-year-old Sean Preston and two-month-old Jayden James.
With a quarter-century, two marriages and two pregnancies behind her, Spears seems to feel the time has come to reinvent herself.
"I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me," she wrote.
And new panties, apparently.
"Thank God for Victoria Secrets' new underwear line!" Spears wrote.
That's the kind of advertising money just can't buy.
