Scott Foley Assigned to Marital Unit
Scott Foley has found his own brand of felicity.
The 34-year-old actor, famous for being Jennifer Garner's ex as much as for his myriad TV roles, has popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, actress Marika Dominczyk, Us Weekly reported Monday.
"It happened about two weeks ago," a rep told the magazine. "They're very happy."
Foley, who currently stars on the CBS military drama The Unit, presented his bride-to-be with a four-carat engagement ring, according to People. The couple started dating in 2003, although their togetherness has been largely overshadowed by reports of what Garner has been up to in the romance department since splitting from Foley earlier that year, after almost three years of marriage.
Garner filed for divorce in May 2003 and was immediately spotted with Alias costar Michael Vartan, whom she kept company with until mid 2004, when she took up with her current hubby, Ben Affleck. She and the Hollywoodland star have an 11-month-old daughter, Violet.
Foley's big break came playing nice guy Noel on the WB's Felicity for four years, taking time out to wreak havoc as the killer in Scream 3. Before brushing up on his sharpshooting skills to join The Unit, he went on to have a multi-episode guest spot playing Elliot's boyfriend on Scrubs and then showed up as a ballplayer stricken with a mysterious ailment on House.
Dominczyk, 26, is a recurring character on ABC's freshman drama Brothers & Sisters, one of the network's few newbies to have already received a full-season pickup. The Poland-born actress also appeared in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, showed up on Bones and starred in the short-lived NBC series Heist.
