Brooke Burke Engaged, Expecting

Brooke Burke is ready to be a model wife and mother. Again.

The host of Rock Star: Supernova and former host of E!'s Wild On is engaged to ex-Baywatch star David Charvet, with whom she is also expecting a child, People reports.

Charvet popped the question Saturday at a summer party, presenting Burke with an eternity engagement band, she told the magazine.

"It was a total surprise," she said. "It was all very romantic."

The couple started dating last year, shortly after Burke split from her first husband, plastic surgeon Garth Fisher, with whom she has two daughters: six-year-old Neriah and four-year-old Sierra.

Burke told People that her kids love their stepfather-to-be, whom she calls "my best friend."

The curvaceous TV personality hosted Wild On from 1999 to 2002. She also hosted CBS' Rock Star: INXS, which led to singer J.D. Fortune's induction into the Australian rock band.

Charvet, a native of France, played Matt Brody on Baywatch from 1992 to 1995 and Craig Field on Melrose Place from 1996 to 1998.

He has spent the bulk of the last several years living in Europe, where he released three pop albums. His latest album, So We Meet Again, is due for release next month.
