Fred's Little Savage
At least dad already knows all about The Wonder Years.
Fred Savage and his wife Jennifer Lynn Stone became the proud parents of a baby boy Saturday night in Los Angeles, People magazine reported Monday. This is their first child together.
The little guy, who has not been named yet, weighed in at 6 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 20 inches. His proud parents are "absolutely thrilled," Savage's agent said.
Savage and Stone tied the knot in August 2004 after?well, after spending a lot of time apart, actually. The couple were childhood pals who parted ways in 1988 (around the time a 12-year-old Savage suited up for Vice Versa). They didn't make a love connection until 11 years later at Savage's birthday party; but, they've been inseparable ever since.
After The Wonder Years came of age in 1993, Savage, 30, filled his acting schedule with TV movies, guest spots (including a very un-Kevin Arnold-like performance as a serial rapist on Law & Order: SVU--which, because of repeats, is on constantly) and small roles in movies such as Austin Powers in Goldmember and Welcome to Mooseport. He has taken quite a few turns behind the camera, as well, directing multiple episodes of the Nickelodeon series Drake & Josh and Fox's Kitchen Confidential.
Savage most recently starred in the now-canceled ABC sitcom Crumbs. He can also be seen going all in at the World Poker Tour's celeb-studded Hollywood Home Games, which benefit the stars' favorite charities.
