Matt Damon's Newborn Identity
Matt Damon has just added one more sequel to his credits.
The Bourne Identity and Ocean's Eleven star and his wife, Luciana Bozan, welcomed their first child together on Sunday, a baby girl they named Isabella, the actor's rep confirmed to E! News.
The baby weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces, People magazine reported. Both mother and child were said to be doing well.
Isabella is the first child for Damon, who said last year that he "longed for" fatherhood, and the second child for Bozan, who has a daughter from a previous relationship.
The new parents were married in a quickie ceremony in December after getting engaged last September.
They met three years ago at the Miami club Crobar, where Bozan was employed as a bartender at the time. The Argentine-born beauty has been a fixture at Damon's side ever since.
"The engagement isn't, like, anything new," Damon told the Boston Herald after popping the question last year. "We know we're together."
The arrival of his daughter should give Damon and fellow first-time daddy, Brad Pitt, plenty to commiserate about when they begin shooting Ocean's Thirteen next month.
Damon also recently worked with Angelina Jolie on spy pic The Good Shepherd, slated for a Dec. 22 release.
Other upcoming projects for the actor include the Martin Scorsese crime drama, The Departed, and The Bourne Ultimatum, the third chapter in the Bourne franchise.
He also reteams with buddy Ben Affleck on an as-yet untitled drama inspired by the real-life story of two lawyers who spent 15 years battling to free an innocent man on death row.
