As it turned out, June was the perfect month for a Summer wedding.

A few years after popping the question, Casey Affleck tied the knot with Summer Phoenix over the weekend, the groom's publicist, Rebecca Feferman, confirmed Monday.

The couple have been together for six years and have a two-year-old son, Indiana August.

No other details about the wedding were available, such as whether any famous older siblings made the scene. Phoenix's big bro, Joaquin, aka Cupid, was the one who introduced the happy couple. He and Affleck have been friends since appearing together in To Die For in 1995 as murderous teenage pals.

Although it looked as if Affleck would beat big brother Ben to the altar after presenting Phoenix with a dazzling diamond over the 2003 Christmas holidays, the older Affleck hopped to it with Jennifer Garner last June.

Affleck, 30, recently starred in Steve Buscemi's Lonesome Jim and is currently shooting the kidnapping thriller Gone, Baby, Gone, Ben's directorial debut, costarring Michelle Monaghan and Ed Harris. Morgan Freeman is in final talks to star, as well, according to Variety. Affleck will also engage for the third time in classy thievery later this summer when Ocean's Thirteen begins production.

Phoenix, 28, has guest-starred on ER and appeared in The Faculty and the acclaimed HBO movie The Laramie Project.
