Oscar winner Rachel Weisz has another little man in her life to cherish.

The 35-year-old actress and her fiancé, filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, 37, welcomed a healthy baby boy Wednesday night in New York, according to People and Us Weekly, who both claimed exclusives on the news. (People, however, got the news direct from Weisz's rep, while Us Weekly heard from a "friend.")

This is the couple's first child together.

Weisz announced her pregnancy in January on the Tonight Show and went on to accept multiple honors for her role as a human rights activist who gets too close to corruption in The Constant Gardener--including an Academy Award--with a burgeoning baby belly in tow.

FYI, she still looked smashing in her haute couture.

About the father of her bundle of joy, Weisz told Jay Leno:

"I found myself a sophisticated, educated American. He's not an actor. He's traveled the world. He knows where Europe is, unlike a lot of Americans. He's very cultured, but he's all man."

Aronofsky, who's from Brooklyn, must have been relieved to hear that.

The manly Requiem for a Dream director discussed his bride-to-be's pregnancy cravings with People last month.

"I was expecting all the weird things," he said. "There's this jar of pickles sitting in the fridge. It's been there for months and she hasn't even eaten one."

He may not have known what the expectant mom wanted to eat, but he had a good idea about what movie she should appear in. The London-born Weisz, whose big break in the States came playing Brendan Fraser's adventuresome love interest in The Mummy, will be seen next opposite Hugh Jackman in The Fountain, which Aronofsky directed.

The director and Warner Bros. declined an invitation to screen The Fountain at the Cannes Film Festival this year in a noncompetitive slot, saying they wanted competition or nothing, according to Variety.

Weisz has also signed on to star with Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Norah Jones in the romantic comedy My Blueberry Nights, the first English language feature to be directed by Hong Kong-based filmmaker Wong Kar Wai (2046). The film is set to start shooting this summer.
