Joely Fisher's Home Delivery
Joely Fisher's one True love: her new baby.
The Desperate Housewives actress and her cinematographer husband, Chris Duddy, welcomed daughter True Harlow Fisher-Duddy into the world Thursday, People magazine reports.
The tyke was delivered at Fisher's Los Angeles abode at 1:30 a.m., tipping the scales at 7 pounds, 12 ounces.
"The baby is gorgeous and healthy," the actress' rep, Brit Reese, tells People. "Everybody is resting comfortably."
And yes, the home birth was planned.
"I had a wonderful experience the first time and I wanted something different," the new mama explained to TV's Insider.
True is the couple's second child together. They also have a four-year-old daughter, Skylar; Duddy has two children--Cameron, 20 and Colin, 18--from a previous marriage.
Fisher, 38, kicked off the baby festivities earlier this month with a shower at the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel. Guests at the bash included Camryn Manheim, Kristin Chenoweth, mother Connie Stevens, stepmother Debbie Reynolds (who was previously married to Fisher's famous papa, Eddie Fisher) and Dancing with the Stars hopeful Lisa Rinna.
According to People, partygoers were asked to paint tiles that will decorate the baby's room.
"I painted, 'Vote for Lisa and Louie,' " Rinna said, in reference to her prime-time hoofing gig. "But I painted another tile that said 'True Love,' so I think I redeemed myself."
Fisher, who is best known for her role as Ellen sidekick, and Duddy, 44, tied the knot in 1996 on the soundstage of the Hollywood studio where they first met.
