GROUNDED: Oprah Winfrey's private jet making an emergency landing at the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport after it collided with a bird, cracking its windshield. Winfrey and boyfriend Stedman Graham were aboard, but were not injured in the incident.

UNRESTRAINED: A New Mexico judge lifting a restraining order granted to a Santa Fe woman who had complained that David Letterman was using code words to try and coerce her into becoming his wife and cohost.

ROUND TWO: Tori Spelling getting engaged to her boyfriend of four months, Dean McDermott, her publicist confirms. Both Spelling and McDermott currently in the process of divorcing their prior spouses.

Y'ALL AIN'T READY: Kevin Federline launching his own Website, www.kevinfederline.com, in the hopes that "this will provide you with the opportunity to get to know who I really am." The former backup dancer's debut album, The Truth is expected to be released next year.

HASTA LA VISTA, BABY: Arnold Schwarzenegger's hometown of Graz, Austria, removing his name from the town's soccer stadium and deleting references to him from Websites, in accordance with the California governor's wishes.

HOUSEWIFE AMOK? Eva Longoria and her boyfriend, NBA star Tony Parker, fined in San Antonio on Christmas Eve for impeding traffic, police said Monday. A police report also accused the duo of being verbally abusive by making racial comments to a bicyle officer. Longoria saying in a statement that the report is "highly inaccurate, defamatory, false and fraudulent."

FROM THE TOP: The Bush administration's top Supreme Court lawyer filing arguments on Anna Nicole Smith's behalf in her Supreme Court battle over her late husband's estate. Solicitor General Paul Clement expressing interest in participating in the case when it comes before the justices next year.

ARCHIVED: Hoop Dreams and Fast Times at Ridgemont High among 25 films added to the National Film Registry this year, as part of a collection of significant films being preserved by the Library of Congress.

FINAL TOUCHDOWN: Monday Night Football concluding its final broadcast on ABC, with the New England Patriots triumphing over the New York Jets 31-21. The series begins airing on ESPN next season.

FOR YOUR STREAMING PLEASURE: CBS sitcoms Two and a Half Men and How I Met Your Mother being offered for free streaming from Yahoo! through Monday.

STORK WATCH: Don Johnson and his wife, Kelley, expecting their third child together in May, according to the actor's publicist.

KONG IS KING: King Kong grossing an estimated $31.4 million at the box office over the four-day holiday weekend, just edging out Chronicles of Narnia, which made $30.1 million. Despite those high scorers, overall box office was down 14 percent compared to one year ago.

READY FOR RESULTS: Vietnamese police finishing investigation into Gary Glitter's alleged obscene acts with a child, his attorney said Monday. The rocker, who has been detained in Vietnam since Nov. 19, will learn results later this week.

HONEYMOONERS IN VENICE: Sir Elton John and David Furnish honeymooning in Venice after tying the knot in a civil union ceremony in Britain last week, Italian news reports said.

OKLAHOMA! American Idol Carrie Underwood was voted Oklahoman of the Year by Oklahoma Today magazine for encompassing all that makes the state great.

RAPPED: Foxy Brown briefly handcuffed and threatened with jail time for disrepecting New York judge. Rapper was supposed to agree to plea bargain Friday, but judge declined to approve terms. All parties are due back in court next month.

MOURNED: Character actor Vincent Schiavelli, who appeared in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Ghost, died of lung cancer Monday at his home in Sicily; he was 57.
