Pamela's Accused Stalker Restrained
What Pamela Anderson wants, Pamela Anderson gets.
The Stacked star was granted a request for a three-year restraining order against an alleged stalker Monday, after claiming in her court filing that the actions of one William Peter Stansfield, 29, "frightened [her] tremendously."
Among other complaints, Anderson accused Stansfield of "stalking and harassing me, my sons and other family members for more than a month."
The actress claimed that she witnessed Stansfield approach her 7-year-old son at his school and begin speaking to him. When she confronted him, Stansfield told her he wanted her "to stop working on Stacked and work on a movie with a script that he had written for me," according to her complaint.
"I was very uncomfortable and immediately told him to leave us alone, and my sons and I left the school," Anderson said in her court filing. "My children were very frightened and upset by this confrontation and did not understand why this man was at their school talking to them. There was absolutely no reason for Mr. Stansfield to be anywhere near my sons' school."
Stansfield purportedly also attempted to contact the actress by approaching several of her family members and her sons' nanny and by slipping documents into the mailbox of her Malibu home, which is located in a gated community.
"I have no intention of working with Mr. Stansfield," Anderson declared. "These actions are harassing and I had to instruct security to make sure that he did not enter the community."
Superior Court Judge Linda K. Lefkowitz said the claims against Stansfield were "sufficient, clear and convincing."
Neither Anderson nor Stansfield was in court for the verdict, which prevents Stansfield from contacting Anderson and her family. However, Anderson's lawyer, John Gatti said he was pleased with the ruling.
"We're very happy with the court's decision," Gatti told reporters outside the court room. "It was the proper thing to do."
"Ms. Anderson rightfully is a concerned parent. She's concerned for the safety of her children and other children at the school. This was improper conduct at the school and it's the kind of conduct that goes way beyond the bounds of decency."
Stansfield, who hails from Newcastle, England and is reportedly homeless, denied stalking Anderson.
"Not in the least," he told Inside Edition in an interview last week. "This is outrageous."
Outrageous as it may seem (at least to him), Stansfield is legally obligated to keep his distance from the Baywatch babe for the foreseeable future.
