DIAPER DUTY: Donald Trump and Melania Knauss announcing they are expecting their first child together. It will be the fifth child for the real estate mogul, who has three children from his first marriage to Ivana Trump and one from his second marriage to Marla Maples.
SUPREME COURT, BABY: The U.S. Supreme Court agreeing Tuesday to review Anna Nicole Smith's appeal that a judge's award of $88.6 million from the estate of her late husband, oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall, should be restored to her. An appeals court ruled last year that the oilman's son should be his sole heir.
SITH BUST: Federal authorities charging eight people with crimes related to pirating Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith.
THEY WANT THEIR MTV: Gorillaz and Coldplay leading the field in nominations for the 2005 MTV Europe Music Awards with five apiece. The awards ceremony will take place Nov. 3 in Lisbon. Coldplay, Green Day and the Foo Fighters are among the acts slated to perform.
WEDDING BELLS: Jennifer Jason Leigh and director Noah Baumbach were married over Labor Day weekend, Baumbach told People magazine at the New York Film Festival premiere of his film, The Squid and the Whale.
THE WAY IT IS: Late rap icon Tupac Shakur's 1995 screenplay, Live 2 Tell, becoming a feature film. The production company behind the project, which has yet to be cast, plans to begin production next March.
FROM THE GRAVE PART II: Deceased musicians Biggie Smalls and Bob Marley teaming for a "duet" on the new single, "Hold Ya Hand," which was released Monday via AOL Music.
BOSS ACTION: Columbia Records releasing Bruce Springsteen's Born To Run 30th Anniversary Edition, a three disc box set featuring two DVDs and one CD, on Nov. 15.
TAKING THE STAGE: Mariah Carey, Rob Thomas and Kenny Chesney among the artists scheduled to perform at the 2005 American Music Awards on Nov. 22.
FIRST LADY LENDS A HAND: Laura Bush making a special guest appearance on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Tuesday. The episode was filmed in flood-ravaged Biloxi, Mississippi and will air in November, according to the Los Angeles Times.
SWEET TOOTH: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory hitting $201 million at the foreign box office after a $13.8 million weekend from 52 markets.
MUY CALIENTE: Enrique Iglesias topping People En Espanol's second annual list of the 25 Sexiest Bachelors. Wilmer Valderrama and singer Pablo Montero also making the list.
REMEMBERED: Don Adams, the wry-voiced comic famed for playing secret agent Maxwell Smart in the 1960s James Bond TV spoof, Get Smart, as well as voicing the cartoon character Inspector Gadget, died late Sunday in Los Angeles from a lung infection. He was 82.
THEY DO! Demi Moore, 42, and Ashton Kutcher, 27, married Saturday night at a Beverly Hills home in a Kabbalah ceremony, Us Weekly and People report. About 100 of their closest friends and family members attended, including Moore's ex-husband Bruce Willis, their three daughters and Lucy Liu.
THEY DON'T! Sopranos scion Jamie-Lynn DiScala and her husband-manager, A.J. DiScala, have separated after two years of marriage, he tells the New York Daily News. He says there's still a chance at reconciliation.
