Stamos & Romijn Officially Over
John Stamos and Rebecca Romijn's divorce in progress has been finalized.
According to family court documents, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Harvey A. Silberman signed off on the split last Thursday, nearly a year after the former camera-friendly twosome called it quits.
The union was officially dissolved as of Tuesday, court documents indicate.
The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit pinup and the Full House heartthrob met in 1994 at a Victoria's Secret fashion show, where Romijn was working the runway and Stamos was (presumably) drooling from the audience.
For their first date, they headed to--where else?--Disney World--where Romijn has said they consummated their relationship.
They married in 1998 before onlookers such as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and Tyra Banks.
It was the first trip down the aisle for both.
In April 2004, the couple announced that the honeymoon and all that came after was over; four months later they officially filed for divorce.
The former Romijn-Stamos reverted to her maiden name shortly after announcing the split and began dating Jerry O'Connell.
She is currently at work on the film Man About Town, costarring O'Connell and Ben Affleck.
Meanwhile, Stamos is headlining the cast of Jake in Progress, a new comedy sitcom for ABC. The series debuts Mar. 13.
