Gwen Stefani's not only "Just a Girl" but an angry one at that.

The No Doubt star's husband, rocker Gavin Rossdale, may have aged Stefani a few years with the revelation that he's the father of a 15-year-old girl.

Rossdale, frontman for Bush, announced this week that DNA tests have confirmed he is the biological of teenage London model Daisy Lowe.

"Yes, it's true, but out of respect to all parties concerned, I've no further comment," Rossdale said in a statement.

Stefani, 35, who has voiced her desire to someday have children with Rossdale, is reportedly devastated and infuriated by the news that she's suddenly a stepmom.

Conversely, Daisy, an up-and-coming catwalker who's currently featured in the October issue of British Vogue, is reportedly over the moon to find out that the 36-year-old Rossdale is her father. The rocker had a brief dalliance with Daisy's mum, London-based designer and singer Pearl Lowe, years ago when they were both struggling singers in their late teens.

Pearl Lowe, 33, had listed another man, British businessman Bronner Lowe, as the father on Daisy's birth certificate, according to People magazine, but Rossdale has always been the girl's godfather. (Pearl Lowe also has two other children with longtime boyfriend Danny Goffey, the drummer for Supergrass.)

According to Star magazine, Stefani once confronted Rossdale about whether he had a relationship with Pearl Lowe, and Rossdale denied it.

But then Lowe reportedly decided to get the DNA test to clarify her daughter's pedigree before Daisy turned 16, and the truth came out. There have been no indications that Lowe will seek child-support for Daisy.

Several publications cite sources close to Stefani and Rossdale saying the couple's marriage has hit a rough patch with the news. The alt-rock poster couple were wed in 2002, following a six-year courtship.

Although the Stefani-Rossdale union remains intact, there's a good chance Stefani has imposed a "Don't Speak" rule on Rossdale.

The entire episode is eerily reminiscent of another love-child tabloid shocker involving a rock star. Liv Tyler famously found out that Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler was her father when she was a teenage model as well.

Meanwhile, Stefani has been busy promoting her first solo offering, the aptly titled Love, Angel, Music, Baby, due Nov. 23.

The singer also makes her big-screen debut in December, when she plays Jean Harlow opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese's Howard Hughes biopic The Aviator.
