Mia Tyler's Sin City Nuptials
Las Vegas-bound Mia Tyler bet on love last weekend.
The plus-sized model and offspring of rocker Steven Tyler tied the knot in Sin City with her own music honey, Papa Roach drummer David Louis Buckner, last Saturday.
But instead of a drive-through ceremony performed by an Elvis impersonator, Papa Tyler gave his daughter away in front of thousands of fans during an Aerosmith show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, according to a hotel official.
The Aerosmith frontman reportedly told the MGM Grand audience: "Hey Vegas, I need a favor, my daughter wants to get married tonight. Can I get a witness."
According to People magazine, the couple planned to get tattoos on their ring fingers in lieu of wedding bands. No word if the inking took place.
It's a first marriage for Tyler, 24, and Buckner, 27, who reportedly got engaged in June.
Tyler's half-sister Liv took a more discrete approach with her own rock 'n' roll ceremony. She wed former Spacehog Royston Langdon in a secret Caribbean ceremony in April. The sisters also have another two half-siblings, Chelsea and Taj, from Steven and current wife Teresa.
No word if Liv attended her sister's wedding.
Best known as a model for Lane Bryant and H&M, Mia's also dabbled in music, as an MTV2 veejay, and movies, landing a cameo in O Brother Where Art Thou. Next, she'll appear in Don't Stand So Close to Me.
Buckner has been in the studio working on Papa Roach's forthcoming Dancing in the Ashes, the follow-up to 2002's Lovehatetragedy.
