Keanu's Gal-Pal Loses Baby
Syme has lost the baby the couple was expecting next month, USA Today reports.
There have been no further details or confirmation from the Keanu camp.
Reeves, 35, announced in July that he and Syme were expecting, but said at the time he had no plans to wed the former assistant to director David Lynch.
According to E! Online's Ted Casablanca, Reeves was preparing to split with Syme just before they learned of her pregnancy. Casablanca also reported that Reeves was consulting with lawyers as recently as four months ago about the Syme situation.
The actor, who has generally escaped the media romance radar, previously was rumored to be dating his Matrix costar Carrie-Anne Moss. He is currently preparing to reprise his role as superhacker Neo in a pair of sequels to the sci-fi smash.
