NBC's Circus of the Semistars

Celebrity Circus Cast Chris Haston/NBC

Big top? Big whoop.

NBC has unveiled the latest batch of "celebrities" intent on capturing a smidgen of their former glory via reality television, with the Peacock's go-to host Joey Fatone as the literal ringmaster.

Celebrity Circus will feature model-actor Antonio Sabato Jr., singer Blu Cantrell, reality-show returnee and erstwhile Brady boy Christopher Knight, Olympic swimmer Janet Evans, Jackass extraordinaire Jason "Wee Man" Acuna and model/Dancing with the Stars also-ran Rachel Hunter competing in a series of "death-defying" circus stunts. (Note to NBC flacks: Don't make promises you can't keep.)

High wire, fire dancing, flying trapeze and the ominous-sounding wheel of death are just some of the acts the half-dozen has-beens will attempt in front of a live audience beginning June 11. No word yet on what the grand prize will be.

It might not be the greatest show on Earth, but hey, it can't be any worse than quarterlife.
