For Halloween, Selena Gomez is unmasking her charitable side.

The Disney Channel wizard has signed on as the face of the 2008 Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign, which urges kiddies to help out children around the world by collecting donations while making their yearly candy runs on Oct. 31.

The program has raised more than $140 million since its inception in 1950.

"I am extremely excited to be this year's Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF spokesperson," the 16-year-old Gomez said. "I want to help encourage other kids to make a difference in the world."

The Wizards of Waverly Place star hasn't let on to what she'll be doing for Halloween this year, but we imagine that dressing up as a lovebug will be involved.
