Balthazar Getty Admits to Singlehood

Sienna Millerapparently has a thing for sorta single dads.

Balthazar Getty released a statement today confirming what that picture of him and a topless Miller made the most nearsighted among us see coming a mile away: He and Rosetta Getty, the mother of his four children, have separated.

"The breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience especially when children are involved," the Brothers & Sisters star said.

"In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further."

Getty and Miller, who was engaged to Jude Law until he stepped out with his kids' nanny, were spotted canoodling in the shade (shadily canoodling?) last week on Italy's Amalfi Coast.

The 33-year-old actor swapped vows with Rosetta in May 2000. They have four little ones, including daughter June, who was born this past October.
