Nicole Kidman: "A More Evolved Love" With Keith

Nicole Kidman, Elle Magazine elle.com

Nicole Kidman's days of thunder may be gone, but they're certainly not forgotten.

And in a way, the subject of her marriage to Tom Cruise, per the November issue of Elle, does provide a better understanding of her relationship with hubby Keith Urban.

"I didn't forsee it, that you can meet somebody who you have a deep and more profound love with," the Oscar winner says about her feelings toward the country crooner.

"I don't mean to take away anything with Tom," she's quick to add, "but I would hope that he has the same thing—I know he has the same thing with Katie. You move into a stage where you're able to be a more fuller person in your relationship."

However, Kidman, who has two adopted children with Cruise, Connor and Isabella, insists that her words not be misconstrued.

"I want to be really careful with that because I don't want to take away from 11 years with that man that were really important. Really, for our kids—they were amidst a lot of love. It wasn't bad. And now we're amidst a more evolved love."

As for her time with the Hollywood top gunner, Kidman says, he "taught me an enormous amount—as a girl into a woman. Absolutely, I would do it again."
